Injection molding process description: mold is a tool for the production of plastic products. It consists of several sets of parts with a mold cavity. A plastic mold consists of two parts: a movable mold and a fixed mold. When the mold is opened, the moving mold and the fixed mold separately remove the plastic products.

Although the structure of the mold may vary depending on the type and properties of the plastic, the shape and structure of the plastic product, and the type of injection machine, the basic structure is uniform. The mold is mainly composed of pouring system, temperature control system, forming parts and structural parts. The gating system and the moulded parts are in direct contact with the plastic and vary from plastic to product. It is the most complex and changeable part of the mold, requiring the highest smoothness and accuracy.

In order to get the product out of the mold, the mold must be divided into two parts: the male mold and the female mold. This interface is called the parting surface. It has the function of die parting and exhaust, but because of the difference of die precision and forming process, it is easy to produce burr and nodulation, which affects the appearance and accuracy of the product. For products with high coaxiality requirements, try to design the cavity on the same side.

Avoid long core-pulling. If the core-pulling mechanism must be positioned on the positive side as much as possible, consider placing it in the die opening direction.

Generally do not use the arc part, will affect the appearance of the product.

For plastics with good fluidity and good overflow, the plug-in method should be used to prevent burrs.

For the products with high height and small demoulding capacity, the middle parting die can be used, both sides of the parting cavity for easy demoulding.
